Don, and all,
Having been the steward of the Arner box for a bit, yes, I do have some =
thoughts.
Perhaps some of the primo material, (ship's passage, handwritten =
documents, the best photos) could be copied and/or scanned. Would there =
be enough time to do that much together? It would give Jeff a little =
time to see the originals, but then you could leave with them. Granted, =
it means splitting up the treasure, but I think that's okay in the =
meantime.
Just my two cents.
Audrey

  Hi guys -=20
  =20
I'm going to be in Carbon County, PA mid July for my Summit Hill High =
class reunion. I'll be taking most of the genealogy stuff that has been =
making the rounds of our family for several years. Some of the Arner =
Family tree chasers I have been corresponding with have expressed an =
interest in seeing Joes material while I am in their area on this visit. =

  =20
One of the people who seems most dedicated to the Arner genealogy is a =
Jeff Minnich (his Mom was an Arner) of, I believe, Emmaus. He would like =
to borrow the material for a while to use it for the info it contains =
about the Arner/Orner/Ahner/Erner tree. He seems very diligent and =
generous so I think it would be good to share what we have with him. I =
also expect he would do the work none of us seem to have the time or =
inclination to do - and share it with us.=20
  =20
For Jeff to get to delve like he wants to, would require more time =
than I have this trip. The alternative is for me to leave parts of it =
(or all) with him this trip and retrieve it later (could be a year or so =
- these things take time) when he is done. When he is done with it we =
could assure that our side is correctly represented, we have accurate =
genealogy for our heirs, and then donate Joe's work to the archives at =
the Carbon or Lehigh County Historical Society in his name.
  =20
My question to you all is - Is this acceptable to you all or does =
anyone have another option - such as keeping it all together and waiting =
for me to get the time to put it together?=20
Either way you all will get scanned copies of the photos and documents =
and complete pedigrees eventually (I was unable to scan in the =
pedigrees.) Sooner if we use Jeff to compile the genealogy.=20
  =20
Hope I haven't confused everyone. I know this is a busy time for all =
but I would appreciate your vote before I leave Monday.
  =20
  Have a happy Fourth.
  =20
  Love Don
